Default Badooki - new game for me and I can\'t even spell it!!!

The Dealer's Choice table that I sometimes play at has just introduced Badooki (or Baduki, or Bidooki or however it is spelt). It seems like a pretty wild game, especially when played Pot Limit.

Anyway, does anyone know anything about it? I've tried looking on the internet but all the different spellings I have entered into a search engine have yielded no matches. So how is it spelt? And are there any sites that give information on how to play the game? If you're an 'expert' on it, would you mind sharing a few tips? Maybe there's a book on it available?

Any help, advice or info would be appreciated - even if it's just telling me how to spell it!

Oh, it's spelt with a p!!!

Thanks for that. Is there anybody out there with lots of experience at this game who can offer advice to me? Anything that will let me take the money is good. We play PL if that makes any difference.

By the way, just for clarification: does a K,K,K,K Padooki beat any flush? Or do you need an unpaired hand? Also, since A is low I presume that a pair of Aces beats a pair of 2s - is this correct?

KKKK isnt a padooki. A padooki is four different suits four different cards.

Best hand is A234 all different suits. we play it Pot limit in UK and in Nottingham often with a wild card. (First picture card shown by dealer, then reshuffles).

This is a game, IMHO, in which you should be very wary of pot odds. Say you have A299 and the pot is re-raised 3 times before it gets to you, then a fold is a must. Most players here don't though which can pay you off! Position is SO important plus knowing the players. I rarely play a Padooki hand in our Dealers Choice game unless I get a cheap draw.

If you get to a showdown and its AA vs 22 in Notts you would win with AA, but I have never seen a Pair win a showdown in the last two years!

Curry lover - beware of Padooki, you can lose your shirt at this game. If you need further info have a word with Shaft. He'll advise you on this exciting game.
