Re: Overcards, bet the flop ?
With no raise you may be up against overcards, but middle pocket pairs are common limping hands. I don't think the backdoor flush draw gives you enough support to start driving at this pot. You will probably not get credit for having a 4 as most would check here with a four. What will you do if raised which is exactly what will happen if someone holds 66-88 or a hand like A5? I know its said way too much but..I think you can find a better spot to put your money in.

Re: Overcards, bet the flop ?
The only reason to bet is to bluff the 4. With multiple unknown opponents in the hand, I have a hard time believing that this play would be profitable. Wait for a better hand to put your money into.

Is there any hand you would bet from here? This is ridiculous, 4-1 odds on a flop that more than likely missed everybody and no one wants to take a stab at it. |

[/ QUOTE ] I would think that betting with two unknown opponents to act after you would get called atleast 20% of the time, making this play a losing one. Also, after a single call from a player behind you, betting the turn would just be getting into bluffing. And pure bluffs aren't the wisest play in low limit games. Edit: spelling |

Noone force you to bet the turn if you get called on the flop.
