Hey there,
I hope that I have posted in the correct forum. I'm looking to buy a set of pokerchips but I have this philosophy about now paying more than I have to. Something like this is what I'm looking for: 500 clay chips 11.5 g with aluminium case. I got a local store here where I can buy that for $300 but there must be somewhere I can get it cheaper. Question no 2: I how found pretty cheap chipsets on the net but they got metal inserts and people think that those are lame. What do you think? I want the real deal. Some people say that ALL chips got some metal in them. So, where can I buy really cheap chips? |

![]() I believe all the 11.5g chips have the metal slug in them. Your best bet for cheap prices is EBAY.com. If you don't want to auction for them, try 5stardeal.com |

There are MANY places to get chips, many.
There are a few topics here that have dicussed this. They include links, and names of places that have them, from custom to very inexpensive. I have a set, mixed. I got from too places. 300 from ebay 11.5 composite, very nice but sort of slippery, when they are stacked. and 200 from pokerparadise, clay like, very nice I think, but sort of ruff looking. But they shuffle SOOOO nicely. Check ouit the other topics on chips and go get samples!! I am waiting for some, but I forget where they are coming from. ciao` |

500 clay chips 11.5 g with aluminium case.
Buy them from www.ebay.com from seller 5stardeal. You should be able to get this for a little over $100, including shipping. -- Homer |

I have noticed that buying the 5-Star chips at Ebay is cheaper than buying the same chips at their own website even without the auction. The "Buy Now" items from 5-star on Ebay are about $30.00 less than their website. And there are cheaper places than 5-Star, however, only 5-Star allows you to determine how many of each color you may want in the set (that I have been able to determine anyway). The others have pre-determined quantities of each color of chip.

![]() These are some sites I've looked at: (Besides the obvious Chipco.com or 5stardeal) http://www.gamelandsports.com/.sc/ms...-Poker%20Chips (Either fan of cards or James Bond) http://www.casinosupply.com/Merchant...tegory_Code=FC (Hat and Cane Presidents or Hat & Cane Dalmatian) http://www.casinocom.com/ChipSale/solidcolorlist.html (What's this Cancellation mark thing? Are these chips deformed?) http://www.pokerchipmart.com/pokerChips9GramClay.html |

Spinettis on Ebay and has their own web site. I've bought chips from them twice and they are very friendly. You can pick your chip colors there as well. I think (from doing a lot of reading before buying recently) that all 11.5 g chips have inserts. If you want real clay you'll pay a lot more for them. BTW, I bought a 500 chip set w/case from Spinetti's on Ebay for $56, not including shipping which was just under $20 I believe. This was for the Dice design 11.5 g chips and I picked the colors I wanted.

The cheapest prices I've found are at pokerchipmart.com.
My friend ordered a nice set of 11.5g striped chips and a table top for less than I payed for them when I ordered through 5stardeal on ebay. Edit: And he was able to customize his colors too. |
