online blackjack dealing
At most of the online casinos that i have played at. the deck is shuffled after every deal. does this give the house an edge or the player. i definetly know that if you are a card counter it is a negative. intercasino offers a single deck blackjack but they shuffle after every deal. how does the house edge compare to regular casino dealing.

Re: online blackjack dealing
When a casino shuffles after every hand, the house edge stays the same if you are a basic strategy player. If you are a card counter, you can't count so the best you can do is use basic strategy and keep the house advantage to a minimum.

Re: online blackjack dealing
I know a long time Las Vegan who has frequently said “If they will deal to me, I can win.” and his statement is true in more ways than one.
His knowledge of the game is such that given a single deck game with favorable rules, he knows the index numbers sufficiently well that he can adjust his play to account for the cards seen during one hand and gain an edge. I’m not talking depth charging, I’m talking one hand heads up and shuffle. He’s that good, on the level. His character is such that even given a six deck game with unfavorable rules AND all the Aces taken out, he will still win. I will not append “on the level” to this paragraph. |

Re: online blackjack dealing
It does give them an edge, because there aren't any cards dealt before the start of any round, so you can't count. My suggestion for online blackjack would be to become a bonus whore and save serious play for casinos where they don't shuffle after every round.
