live hand-flopped straight on 3 flush board in big ass pot
4/8
MP3 and CO are play the majortiy of their hands and are pretty fishy. CO is maybe slightly passive post flop 5 limpers, I limp 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] on button, SB calls, BB raises, everybody calls, I call (15SB)Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Checked to MP3 who bets, CO raises, hero??? Plan for the rest of the hand? |

Re: live hand-flopped straight on 3 flush board in big ass pot
Assuming that you actually have a straight and not just a pair of fives, then I think it's probably better to wait to raise a safe turn card when your equity increases. I don't think you're ever folding a decent flush draw, so it's really just about maximizing value here. Since the pot is so multiway, if a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] hits, you are losing, so there's no reason to want to raise early to fold out a medium spade.
