and honestly i dont give a [censored]. this guy is like 25/15, and i have a note on him that says "donks mid pairs into PFR blind defense". if you're gonna be [censored] predictable prepare to get owned.
the guy's name was "joeyjoejoe51" (apparently a 2p2 poster) and after the hand he said "wow you're horrible" "for a poster" "way to chase your gutshot." i honestly dont care what you think about my play. i played my hand fine in that i knew exactly what you had, based on a read, and i owned you on the river. move on. PS your river 3bet sucks hard. I think in one of sklansky's books it says that often a correct calling strategy shorthanded in these situations is to pretend the overcard to your hole-cards is a blank, and that this will give you approximately the right calling frequency.
Anyways, whats he doing calling the cap? |

your note and the subsequent hand is a great way to reenforce selective memory and results oriented play. GL

He may play mid pair in this fashion, but your note doesn't say he wont do this with top pair. Considering the not so good implied odds (you may not get 2 bb if you do turn a pair and he has a 7), reverse implied odds, break even pot odds if you are drawing live every time, and negligible backdoor draws, this has to be a flop fold.
If you're note says he always donks mid pair and always checks top pair then you should consider a peel. And then fold. |

How did you have a read that he didnt have a Q?
Is it because he would have raised any Q preflop? |
