Common situation where I always have a problem
Ultimate Bet 0.05/0.10 Hold'em (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx
Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero Raises4 folds</font>, Button calls, SB completes, 1 fold</font>. Flop: (3 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)</font> SB bets</font>, Hero raises</font>, Button calls, SB calls. Turn: (4.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)</font> SB bets</font>, Hero ? I raised the flop to sort of see where I was at, and to hopefully get button to fold and clean up my outs. But these stop and gos still confuse me. Am I ahead enough to make a raise here, or should I call it down? |

Re: Common situation where I always have a problem
Not familiar with .05/0.10 so I'm assuming slightly loose / reasonable
Flop: I'm not sure the raise gets you much. I think you can tell for cheap that AJ against a (AK/AQ/anyPair) that is betting into you again is not good. I'm strongly considering folding this on the flop. Pretty slim chance of redraw to flush and pot is small Turn: Now this sucks. I wish I was out of the hand earlier. I'm in call down mode to the end and I don't think I'm gonna like it. I don't feel I can raise the Turn to knock out the 3rd player because I may very likely be in trouble. Calling doesn't protect anything If I can call down I'll take it but it seem hard to play this hand with any confidence at this point. |

Re: Common situation where I always have a problem
Since its .05/.10 I would think play it all aggressively and agree that turn raise would be a strong.
What if level was $0.5 / $1 - Would advice be the same? |

Re: Common situation where I always have a problem
Call down - he has the 2 pair he's representing a lot and you have outs, and the real possibility of a 3-bet sucks.

Re: Common situation where I always have a problem
Either call or raise. Don't fold.
