preflop call is standard. Flop is fine. Turn you definitely need to bet. People will peel there with a weaker 4 Ax, or just overs. Against a reasonable player I bet/fold.

I'd bet. You have the best hand a lot here and you need to protect your hand from overs. I think having it checked through here would be a disaster. If he raise, I might call down because he's short stacked and could just be making a desperation move. I'd put him in on the turn, actually, since if he were to raise he'd have only one bet left. Calling and checking to him on the river would only give him the chance to save that bet when he has nothing.

i didn't see he was shortstacked. That pushes it more towards a call for me.
