Foxwoods dying out?
I played last monday and yesterday (Sunday) and was really surprised that there were no lists either days. Monday was a holiday, so I though that it was just an off day. I'm used to it being a madhouse with 1+ hour waits on the weekends. Is this the beginning of the end for Foxwoods? -Matt |

Re: Foxwoods dying out?
Foxwoods might not always be a "madhouse" - but it will always have tons and tons of games, even if the low-limit NL games are growing at a faster rate than the limit ones.

I realize this. I was just wondering if this was a general trend, I usually only make it down to the 'woods about once a month. |

If that's the case AND you want to maximize the number of people there, make it on Friday night or Saturday ... IF you can wake up Saturday early enough, getting there < 9am is often the ultimate pimp move.

Re: Foxwoods dying out?
Not sure what you're worried about. I was at Foxwoods yesterday and it was plenty busy. They didn't have extra-long lists because they weren't running 90 tables or whatever their max is. Every time a list would get 10+ people on it, they'd open a new table.
I was at Foxwoods on Saturdays about 5 or 6 times over the summer, and it's busier on a) Saturday and b) during the summer. It was actually busier yesterday than I thought it would be. Side Note 1 - The cross sound ferry from Long Island, the Sea Jet, had some ROUGH seas on the way over yesterday. Half the boat had nausea and a few people lost it. 10% rougher and the whole boat would have killed themselves. Side Note 2 - GOD I love the 5/10 kill game at Foxwoods. Rob |

Re: Foxwoods dying out?
The limit games have been impacted by the heavy growth of the baby NL games. Also, once people bust out of the NL games their bankroll is gone and are not coming back to the lower limit games.
