Ever notice how you never hear about this on tv, etc.? Its always "Mr X has won $300,000 this year, blah blah". They never mention that Mr X didnt place in 80 of his tourneys, for a total of $180,000 lost and a REAL income of $120,000. Not bad at all, but nowhere near what is "claimed".
Sorry bout the rant. Just getting tired of hearing about the latest Mr X or Y at work. |

Worry about your own money and you won't be so bitter.

That would apply to any tour-based sport: tennis, golf...think of all the times Tiger Woods flies his private jet to a tourney that he doesn't win...

Maybe not ever, but close. Im not talking about how somebody gets to the tournament or their personal lifestyle. It just seems pretty misleading. Even their own web pages only show the tourneys they placed in. I would actually like to know who some of the "best" REALLY are, but you cant tell. Is HELL-Mouth really that great? Is he better than Brunson? He very well could be, but there is no solid evidence to judge by because of the way "winnings" are totalled. |
