QQ against preflop capper
Playing good hands against someone you suspect to have a good hand too is very tricky IMO. And it gets even trickier when there is a third player in the pot. Here's one hand from my session tonight:
5-10 online (10-handed) I have no individual reads, but the table has been quite aggressive preflop. Hero is SB with Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG raises, 1 fold, UTG+2 3-bets, 5 folds, Hero calls, 1 fold, UTG caps, UTG+2 calls, Hero calls. 3 to the flop for 13 SB. Flop comes 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero bets, UTG raises, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls. 3 to the turn for 9.5 BB. Turn comes 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero bets, UTG raises, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls. 3 to the river for 15.5 BB. River comes 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero checks, UTG bets, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls. Thoughts? I must confess that I felt very lost in this one. I guess more or less all streets are debateble. I'm prepared to get crucified . |

Re: QQ against preflop capper
I'd cap it myself preflop. The hand plays differently after that.
