I am in the process of ordering some books from amazon and am willing to spend up to $100 on stock (not including shipping and handling and ordering fees) so far my list includes;
Middle limit Hold'em by Bob Weighing the odds by King Hold'em for advanced players by 2+2 The theory of poker by 2+2 Total = around the $70 mark are there any other essentials that I'm missing here. I suppose I'll give you a little background here. I'm a low limit semi-pro who is under booked. My library consists solely of Ken warren books and a Jhon Vorhaus (Killer Poker). I play limit exclusively and need a better knoledge base. I have set aside this period in my development to max out my learning curve and that means reading and studing and posting and studying on a one-one basis with playing and quite frankly my libary is just too small and weak to hold my attention |

Order from buy.com or overstock.com. You'll save some money as the books are cheaper there.

I strongly recommend that you include Small Stakes Hold'em in your list. It will teach you how to extract every penny out of loose games.

I should mention that I'm not in the US or Canada. Im down under, and unfortunately I don't think that buy.com ship out side the US. Overstock looks good though, thanks for the tip.
You know it really sucks that we can't get good poker lit in Australia and have to import over the internet |

SSHE is the most important selection of all.
Your other selections are good too....but SSHE is 1st and it's not even close. Don't be deceived by the title 'small stakes'. This is an extremely important book if you are EVER going to succeed at ANY limit. You can also consider How good is your limit holdem by Bryan Jacobs if you're willing to add another selection. Even Getting Started in Holdem and Winning Low-Limit Hold-em are worthwhile reads. And considering that you've read so much Ken Warren I think you would be wise to add these more beginner-ish type books as well. |

Your list is good, and I agree that SSHE must be added.
Please do not play at my table. |
