Switching from PS to Party adjustments
I have been playing 225-555s on PS for a long time, with pretty good results, lately however the games, especially the 555 (thanks JJ) are totally drying up, and its rare to have more than 1 fish at the table. That coupled with the fact that I can get insane rakeback on party have made me decide to switch and start 8 tabling 200s on party.
Are there any adjustments that one should make when switching? I would imagine the players/structure difference would mean I would need to play slightly differently. Thanks in advance for the help. |

Re: Switching from PS to Party adjustments
I just did this myself. You really need to get good at bubble play. With the short stacks there is not as much post flop play. I usually just play super tight early, so I have a reasonable number of chips left when it reaches level 4.
Edit: I see you said you play the $555's, so I'm sure you are already good at bubble play! |

Re: Switching from PS to Party adjustments
I've just been spending a lot of time with eastbay's sit-n-go analyzer the last few weeks. On Stars, I used to rely on trying to outplay opponents early on and trying to build a big lead going into the bubble, but on Party you have to rely more on outplaying your opponents on the bubble.

Re: Switching from PS to Party adjustments
How much do you think youve learned from playing around with powertools regarding bubble or 3/5 handed party sng play? I think i play those situations pretty poorly and i'd like to hone my skills in how to asses stack sizes and such.

Re: Switching from PS to Party adjustments
IMO, this is a must have for anyone who's serious about SNG's. I had no clue about pushing and calling on the bubble before using this.

Re: Switching from PS to Party adjustments
if u are gonna play more than 15 215 sngs, the price will be more than made up by the increase in roi from using the product
the push/fold ev of the bubble is very important in sngs |
