pushadraw
I was willing to push with the OES + flush draw... Should I just push the turn or is the pot sized bet enough? Once UTG pushes I'm pot committed anyway....figured he hit a set or 2 pair so I'm behind.
What maximizes this scenario? Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 6 handed) Hero ($54.10) UTG ($27.05) MP ($35.50) CO ($113.65) Button ($68.70) SB ($48.53) Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. UTG calls $0.50, MP calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, SB (poster) completes, Hero checks. Flop: ($2) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font> <font color="#CC3333">SB bets $0.5</font>, Hero calls $0.50, UTG calls $0.50, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises to $2</font>, SB calls $1.50, Hero calls $1.50, UTG calls $1.50. Turn: ($10) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font> SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $10</font>, MP folds, SB folds, UTG is all-in $24.55, Hero calls $14.55. I'm thinking push this turn almost always |

Re: pushadraw
I think maybe you should check here.. I someone bets behind you and there is one or more callers you can call also and see what the river brings. I noone calls, I think I would raise with a push (Maybe lay it down if UTG is the better and he bets potsized because he is then potcommited and your fold equity is zero)

Re: pushadraw
Looks like UTG was slowplaying a set or something big. But he was relatively shortstacked too... hmm...
Not sure your flush outs are good. I would be tempted to check/call the turn with three players still in the pot. You have a lot of outs but you aren't ahead with only one to come and it's unlikely you'll blow them all out with that bet. Calling his push is fine as you played it. |

Re: pushadraw
no don't push, you likely have no fold equity. check/call is the right play.

Re: pushadraw
the turn;now if you're going to bet, i'd check- raise all-in here if you think you can get the villian to laydown his hand. when he goes all-in over the top you've given yourself good odds by playing this hand terribly.
