Another simple hamd.... TT flopped top set - 5/10 NL
5/10 NL
I ($955) am in the BB with TT - Villain has me covered. UTG calls, 2 folds, Call, Call, CO minraises to $20, Button calles, I call?, everyone else calls. Flop - ($120) Tc 7c 4s I lead for $85 (too small?) - anyone risk a checkraise here? Folds to Button who calls - Turn ($290) 3s - I lead for $235, Button calls. River - the lovely Qc I have $610 left - a decent block bet pretty much commits me. Anyone check fold here given that a flush draw seems like the most likely holding? In the actual hand I checked and villain pushed in... |

luvdem, with so many people in the pot, and a hand which sheds implied odds on such a board which is fairly coordinated, you should be betting the pot or close to it. the hand changes dramatically if you pot the flop / pot the turn.
given you didnt, i think check/folding is reasonable, but unfortunate. |

Re: Another simple hamd.... TT flopped top set - 5/10 NL
With a flopped set, I usually bet into raiser, hope to play a big pot, etc.
Here with the gay raise by CO, I check. Hopefully someone tries to take him off hand and he raises, trying to shake off the fleas. You can then just call, depending on your read. Bascially the mini raise/somewhat decent pot will bring people to life often times. |

reraise pre. Bet pot on every street in situations like this, or even overbet (turn).

or even overbet (turn). [/ QUOTE ] that's my favorite, or risk the CR if you know he's aggro / bad. Just make sure he doesn't get implied odds so you can pot-stick yourself by the river. |
