Niagara Falls Casinos
I know that the Niagara Falls casinos recently put in poker tables and I was wondering if anyone here has been there and tried them out. I live about 20-30min drive from Niagara falls and was curious as to whether they were any good, or if I should just stick to playing on the net.

Re: Niagara Falls Casinos
This topic has been discussed about 100 times this summer, but I'll pitch in again...
All 3 casinos in the area now have pokerrooms: Fallsview and Casino Niagara in Canada and Seneca Niagara in New York. As far as I know, Seneca Niagara is the only one that runs tournaments. Their main draw seems to be the 1-2nl, 2-4, 3-6 limit, and their 3-6 omaha 8/b that always seems to go on the weekends. They also have a 2/5nl game, and a 5/5nl game as well, if I'm not mistaken. Casino Niagara is also a low limit grind room, featuring pretty much the same games Seneca spreads, only no Omaha. Fallsview is the higher limit room, featuring 6/12 limit on up, with bigger nl games. Just recently the Canadian rooms decided to go 24 hours. Free drinks are only available at Seneca Niagara, and are quite expensive at the Canadian casinos. From what I've seen, the worst players are in those casinos. I come back to work in Vegas and instantly see a difference in how much better the play is here than back in the Falls. Good luck if you go! |
