Goofy gutshot. Party 20/40.
Just played a hand where I thought there was a mildly interesting decision to be made:
10-handed, I'm in the BB with 45s. 3 average players limp in the middle. SB raises, leaving him with a $13 stack. Everyone calls. Flop is 26Qr. SB bets his last $13. I raise to $33. Thoughts? |

I think that is very bad. Why would you want to knock others out with 5 high?

[/ QUOTE ] I'm still playing now, so I haven't given it a lot of extra thought, but my initial feeling was, "this fool in the SB is all-in with any 2 cards. I probably have 10 outs against him. My pair outs aren't likely to be worth much, though, if 3 other players are still the hand. Maybe a raise buys me some equity in this decent-sized pot, and possibly even folds pairs under Queens, or a 6." I dunno. I'm getting ridiculously cold-decked tonight, so maybe that's affecting my play, and I was gettin a little over-zealous here. But then again, maybe not. |
