4$ on turn and river??
u can do better than that.. the raise will give you more information anyways, surely enuff, i've lost my aces to some crazy 2 pair that they flopped alot.. so maybe i should b a little more conservative.. |

Raise more preflop, raise more on the flop, raise the turn, if hes still betting into u on the river I would just call. This guy raises 4 and bets 4 on every street... he seems predictable enough.

Thanks guys, I probably played this too weakly because my KK's and AA's has been cracked alot lately on flops like these.
Realisticly only a set beats me here, I guess I feared two pair, strights and flushes too much. In retrospect I should have reraised the turn and if he called I would probably call/check the river. |

Definitely re-raise pre-flop more. $12 is standard, against more LAGgy Villains I'll pop it up to $14 or more.

The only thing you should fear here (if you were to fear at all) is a flush or a set. Why the hell would Villain have cards that hit 2-pair on that board?
But Doyle Brunson said it best when he said "You can't play poker contantly worrying about getting raised. Deal with it when it comes." I'm paraphrasing, BTW. Also, piece of advice: Don't post the results with your hand. You'll get much more unbiased opinions in response. |

You have to reraise more preflop. You don't want to set yourself up to lose a big pot by letting some lesser hands outdraw you. Since villian did turn out to have KK reraising to 15-20 helps build the pot faster and give you a chance to get his entire stack.

give you a chance to get his entire stack [/ QUOTE ] The fact that you didn't get his entire stack with these hands and on this board is a big mistake. |
