How deep do stacks need to be to worry about things like set over set, nut fullhouse vs quads, or having the nuts on the flop but no redraws? Are there any tournament structures that are deep enough or is this purely a cash game consideration? Just something i've been thinking about.

Sorry. I was thinking about No Limit Hold'em. But now that you mention it, i'd be curious as to responses for other games as well. I once stacked off set over set late in a limit omaha tournament and didn't think that much about it, but the game has a much greater risk of that occuring and I was playing with the mentality of a texas no limit player. Thanks for getting me thinking.

The stack needs to be so big that you can't see the really huge monsters hiding behind it.
