QTs, flush draw, second pair
First orbit at this table. I'm not sure exactly how to handle this type of hand. This was at a beginners table, so my opponents are rarely very good.
Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls, 2 folds, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, BB checks. Okay limp? Flop: (5 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls, CO folds, SB folds, BB folds. Great, a flush, so I bet here for value. Turn: (3.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, MP1 calls. Here, I pair up. I can still make a flush, or two pair. I could be behind an ace here, though. River: (5.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets.. I miss, but I bet. I find it unlikely that most players will call this far without an ace. I'd fold to a raise. Is this an okay line, or should I check/call? |

Re: QTs, flush draw, second pair
Without reads I probably check/call this river if you're willing to pay 1 bet. A read helps here though since you'd like to know if villain will bet more, or call more.
Otherwise, I like your line. |

Re: QTs, flush draw, second pair
I think it's good. River is a standard value bet.
