40/80 Live game
Hey new to this board have a question on this line.
40/80 live game 10 handed at a private club. I'm on the button. Game has one or two TAGS who I've played with many times and they are in middle position. BB is a maniac who plays any two to see the flop then miss plays every hand. I'm on the button and get AJs. folded to CO who limps I raise SB and BB cold call CO calls. Flop comes A 4 6 rainbow. Checked to me I bet SB folds BB calls CO folds. Turn is a K completing the rainbow. BB bets I raise he 3 bets I call because something didn't feel right. River he bets I call. Comments... |

Re: 40/80 Live game
Looks like you played it fine. I tend to trust my senses here when deciding whether to call the turn 3-bet.

Re: 40/80 Live game
If he's a maniac who plays any two preflop and then misplays every hand post-flop, it's more likely he has a hand you are ahead of than one you're behind to than it would be against a "normal" player, no?

"because something didn't feel right."
When you are all that is standing between a maniac and the cheese in a big pot, and you have top pair, and he knows you can fold, you can't fold. |
