5/10 Big Blind
Ok after finding out I have a huge leak in the BB (.22)BB/hand, and an even bigger leak in the sb (.17)BB/hand
I realized I better learn how to play out of the blinds. Oh and I don't want any of that weak-tight, "the pot is small, you only have the 2nd nut str8t, you should fold" type advice that is given here sometimes Thanks in advance... Oh Villain is a TAG 14/4/1 in this hand Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. <font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO caps</font>, Hero calls. Re: 5/10 Big Blind
Is villain cognisant of position and steal situations? I want to call, call, call here. Either was have villain drawing to like three outs or he's ahead. Then again by raising we send him a message to not screw with our blind because we CR the flop with TP/TK and stuff. But he capped PF and his stats like tight. If he has KQ he's going to call anyways. CO may be trying to scare you on the river. But his stats are tight. Maybe he changes in a steal situation though. I'd call, call, call. Am I weak?

Re: 5/10 Big Blind
Does this mean villain changes his play when he steals?

Re: 5/10 Big Blind
The guy raises 4 percent of his hands. I think you are either wa/wb on this kind of flop. I c/c all the way.
If you seen him steal with trash before, then I might c/r the flop and lead, but still, 4 percent isn't much. Depends on your read. |

Re: 5/10 Big Blind
14/4/1 isn't a TAG - that's a rock!
I'd still 3-bet preflop, but I'd probably go for a more passive line postflop. Instead of check-raising the flop, I'd probably call and bet the turn or call/call bet the river. I'm pretty sure you can fold the river against this player. |

Re: 5/10 Big Blind
I think my hand count on this guy was very low. His stats indicated he was tight.
However I assume unless I KNOW a guy is a complete rock that he steals somewhat appropriately playing 5/10 |
