Vegas Vacation, New Material, decent history.
Hello all. I am heading to Vegas for a convention and am hoping to get some playing time in this weekend. It's been about 6 months since I've been at a live casino poker table but I have faired well at 3/6 (consistent winner depending on casino), 5/10 (decent at a local game), and 6/12 (crushed the game in New Orleans Harrah's about a year ago) The very first time I went to Vegas was when I was still learning about blinds and ante's (about 4 years ago). I have logged quite a few hours since then at both B&M games and internet games. Any suggestions on how tough the competition is in Vegas at these different tables? What kind of bank should I be taking to sit for a few hours a day from Friday through Monday? If my question is too vague please ask and I can elaborate.

Make sure to keep your convention name tag on while you play.

I don't get the "keep the name tag on" line. Are you all being sarcastic or am I missing the point?

I think they are saying that because the name tag will make you look like a fish.
