AQ facing a raise
i didn't know what to make of the pfr. my PT stats on him showed 1 raise in 65 hands, and that raise happened a few hands ago. there was a raise to 100 at the 15/30 and a cold-call, and villain pushes from the BB with KTs for 500 total.
don't remember reads on the reraiser. comments on both actions appreciated. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (8 handed) converter SB (t520) BB (t1730) UTG (t640) UTG+1 (t935) MP1 (t965) MP2 (t685) CO (t1740) Hero (t785) Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 2 folds, MP1 raises to t100, 2 folds, Hero calls t100, SB raises to t520 (All-In), 1 fold, MP1 calls t420, Hero ? |

Re: AQ facing a raise
I fold this after MP1 has raised it. After SB pushes and MP1 calls, i fold it without thinking twice. I dont like overcalling people who just coldcalled half their stack.

Re: AQ facing a raise
With those PT stats I think this is a muck. After the SB push and the MP flatcall this is an instamuck.

Re: AQ facing a raise
in retrospect, i like the line of folding to the first raise.
i folded to the second one, and the pfr has KQs and the pusher has 77. i was surprised to see i wasn't even 1/3 to win: cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV Ac Qh 432950 31.58 925693 67.53 12111 0.88 0.320 Ks Qs 356348 26.00 1002295 73.12 12111 0.88 0.264 7c 7d 569345 41.54 798018 58.22 3391 0.25 0.416 |
