Obvious cheating. What would you have done?
I realize this is from a 3/6 game, but it's not the limit that matters here, it's the fact that cheating should not be tolerated. And it's probably more likely at the higer limits.
It was the second time the cheating PoS had done this, and he hadn't disconnected at all besides the times he wanted to be all-in. I sent an e-mail to party, but is there a better way to get through to them? Also, when in a game with gangwizard, watch out for this behavior. ***** Hand History for Game 2398798450 ***** $3/$6 Texas Hold'em - Thursday, July 21, 06:38:30 EDT 2005 Table Table 25065 (Real Money) Seat 5 is the button Total number of players : 10 Seat 6: MEHAMMER ( $129.50 ) Seat 7: kurtkeoki ( $210 ) Seat 2: spitler123 ( $151 ) Seat 5: gangwizard ( $125 ) Seat 1: emzen ( $203 ) Seat 3: Lunieron ( $127.20 ) Seat 4: BlindTheft ( $138.50 ) Seat 10: bbd316 ( $17.50 ) Seat 9: BombDog2 ( $138 ) Seat 8: Ewingoat40 ( $100 ) MEHAMMER posts small blind [$1]. kurtkeoki posts big blind [$3]. ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to kurtkeoki [ Jh As ] BombDog2 folds. bbd316 folds. emzen folds. spitler123 folds. >You have options at Table 32584 Table!. Re: Obvious cheating. What would you have done?
1) I'd be more suspicious if he had a 45 - i.e. a hand that really wanted a free play. Sure he had an ace but then he'd be doing it every other time he was in a hand.
2) When I'm in hotels the connections are crappy -- if you play long enough you'll be disconnected at opportune and inopportune times 3) What clinches it is he typed "test". His action buttons (check, bet, fold) weren't responding so he was testing whether he could type something - to test his connection - meaning it wasn't intentional. |

Also, when in a game with kurtkeoki, watch out for this behavior (wild claims of cheating). |

Return to Forum Post this crap in the zoo. And ya know, I hardly ever say anything bad about any one here, and you start your thread off with telling us all that you know this doesn't belong here. You suck. |

Re: Obvious cheating. What would you have done?
Why are you guys ignoring the fact that this guy disconnected only twice in the several hours I played with him, and that both were in this type of situation? You think it's just coincidence that he 'happened' to get disconnected when it was adventageous for him to be considered all-in?

He's clearly a bot utilizing pattern recognition algorithms to predict the outcome of hands. Its because of crap like this that no one can make any money on the internet.

Re: Obvious cheating. What would you have done?
First off, as a previous poster said, post in the correct forum, especially if you're aware of the fact that you're posting in the wrong forum.
Second, there are much better places to be all-in that are far more advantageous than the situation this player is in here, and yes, it is quite reasonable to be disconnected twice in one session. I have had sessions where my internet was acting up, causing me to disconnect in multiple instances. It ain't cheating. |
