Re: turn a set of queens but dont know if I like it
looking at that turn and saying you don't like it is like getting a lap dance from Jessica Simpson and saying you didn't like it

well naturally I liked it when the queen hit, but look at the rest of the hand

Re: turn a set of queens but dont know if I like it
I would not be able to flat call the raise unless the opponent was super tight. He could make this raise with AQ two pair, AK, or may even be mixing it up. Unless his postflop play was super-tight, i'd reraise all in.

Re: turn a set of queens but dont know if I like it
i push this river...maybe someone else will have better advice as to why you shouldn't, but this looks like a push against AK or KK, unless he was slowplaying AA hard, but I still say push.

Re: turn a set of queens but dont know if I like it
Gotta bet that turn and see where you stand.
Clearly, KK (his other possible hand) doesn't raise or even call, so you can probably just bet 1/2 to 2/3 pot. |

Re: turn a set of queens but dont know if I like it
the guy can be tight, but you think he over 4X the buy in only waiting for the top 6 or 7 hands? he can't be that tight preflop. The only hand I am afraid of here is AA

Re: turn a set of queens but dont know if I like it
My guess is he probably thinks his AK / KK is good.

Re: turn a set of queens but dont know if I like it
I like checking the turn and letting him raise you with his KK, 2 pair AQ or maybe even AK. He seems like a very aggressive player who can change gears, so turning the tables on him couldn't hurt.

Re: turn a set of queens but dont know if I like it
I would bet the turn. It is clear from the river minraise that you are up against a set of aces or a horribly played AK (I suppose AQ is a remote possibility as well). Fortunately, he didn't bet enough to make it a tough decision. You only need to win 20% of the time to call here and I think there's at least a 20% chance he's a donk with AK/AQ so call and expect to be shown a set of aces.
