Another Paired Board, Another Botch-a-Rama
Very early in tournament (2nd level); consequently no read on villain.

Re: Another Paired Board, Another Botch-a-Rama
you can fold that. I'm pretty sure that he has a Q. But, with a paired board like that, I would also not have bet out on the turn. But, your flop bet is ok. Would have done that as well.

Re: Another Paired Board, Another Botch-a-Rama
I think you can fold this.
Hero could very easily have a Q here, so I don't think villain is putting a move on. If that is the case then what can villain call PF and ATF. Any Q, 88, I don't think he plays any other 8 for so many chips. Maybe a pp but I don't think he raises the turn, when further action is going to commit his stack. |

Re: Another Paired Board, Another Botch-a-Rama
Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah, like an idiot I called it (and a modest river bet as well), and he had KQs. Paired boards remain my biggest leak, I think. Either that or being unable to let go of overpairs when it's starting to look like they're no good.
