I was lying in bed with my laptop and the room just shook, not too hard, for like ten seconds or so. It was either a small one, or a big one centered far away.
I live in Shadow Hills (sort of between Burbank and Van Nuys, in the hills). |

Same. I'm in San Diego and it felt pretty tiny.

Where's that? The TV in my room isn't hooked up to anything other than DVDs, and I'm too lazy to go downstairs.

Near Palm Springs. I'm in Hollywood and it shook once, pretty hard and knocked over a couple of candles on my dining room table.

I'm in Glendale and I felt it for a few seconds this morning, but it wasn't too bad at all.

I'm on the west side, it was pretty substantial, for about 8-10 seconds.

I have never been in a earthquake. Is this typical for Cali peoples? How do you know one day the earth isn't just going to open up and swallow the entire street you live on?
