Pocket tens cracked aces, first Al Krux held the tens i believe, and later the same thing happen when Raymer had tens vs. Crazy Swedish Guy's Aces. |

Re: Phil Gordon just got knocked out in 8th place with pocket aces
Looks like this tourney had two bad beats. Phil's AA to TT, and just now the last hand, where Law was way ahead on the flop (over 90%), but got very unlucky on the turn.
[ QUOTE ] Hand 131 - Gracz has the button, he raises to $60,000, and Law calls. The flop comes Jh-8c-5c, Law checks, Gracz bets $75,000, Law raises to $175,000, and Gracz reraises all in. Law thinks a long while before calling. Law shows Qd-Jd (top pair), and Gracz shows Qs-8s (second pair). Gracz is dominated here, and needs to catch one of two remaining eights to eliminate Law. The turn card is -- the 8h, and Gracz becomes the dominating favorite with trip eights. Law needs to catch a jack to survive (2 outs). The river card is a 6, and C.T. Law is eliminated in second place, earning $311,555. [/ QUOTE ] |

[/ QUOTE ] Not to be a nit, but Raymer's tens cracked Mike McClain's aces. Raymer busted Mattias Anderson, a.k.a. Crazy Swedish Guy, when Raymer's AT cracked Mattias's AK. |
