mineral oil and clay chips???????
I am under the impression that mineral oil is the best way to bring out the colors in "dry" clay chips. Can somebody confirm this?? Thanks!

Re: mineral oil and clay chips???????
Yes, mineral oil (applied sparingly) will sharpen up the colors and protect the chips. Some people say it "hardens" the chips a little bit and they aren't quite as soft as natural clay.
There was a good review of oiling clay chips at http://www.pokerchipreviews.com/compression.html (look down the page for the Nevada Jack's review, and pictures). Search other threads for some ideas on how to oil them. |
