Blowing bubbles?
10 handed SNG on Party, top 3 paid, 4 of us left.
Blinds 100-200, SB has 700 after post, BB has 1500 after post, UTG has 2600, I'm on the button with 2900. Table is very tight, except for me. I've been stealing when the time was right, and haven't been called/reraised yet. I pick up K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], UTG folds, and I make it 600. The SB folds, and the BB pushes all in for his remaining 1500. 900 more to call, pot is 2400. Easy? Chiz |

Call. Personally I push right away preflop though.

Re: Blowing bubbles?
Yeah, it's an easy. I would have open-pushed in the first place because the two people behind me have less than 10x BB.

Re: Blowing bubbles?
I take it open-pushing is a standard play when the guys behind are shortstacked like this?
I considered folding given how tight the players were. One, the BB is doing this with a big hand, since he's been waiting out the SB for a while now. Two, I know that the SB will likely be taken out soon, and three, that I can continue to steal effectively. Why call if I can almost effortlessly run my stack back up to where it was before I made it 600? Pot is laying a nice price though... |
