TT against an atypical 10/20er
SB's stats are 29/9, so he's a relative rock in this game
Button is an absolute fucktard who's accomplishments for the day include capping Q6s UTG and cold calling.....a lot of cold calling. He's the reason I'm at this table. Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is CO with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Hero raises, Button calls, SB 3-bets, BB calls, Hero calls, Button calls. Re: TT against an atypical 10/20er
yucky....I suppose if I were good I'd find the fold button...but im not good, so I dunno what I do
Unless the SB is aggro hes got to be on an overpair, I dont think hed 3bet the flop with just overs (and if he would, the turn fucks you anyway). So will he 3 bet from the SB PF with 77 88 or 99? Maybe, but given that it isnt HU even if you are ahead (which will only be a small percentage of the time) im guessing there is anywhere from 5 to 20 outs against you, so you will still lose on the river alot as well. yeah, I fold. |

Re: TT against an atypical 10/20er
with a 9% pfr i donīt think 99-77 are plausible. heīd much more likely just call with these hands. i donīt really see whatīs hard about folding this turn. you have a read, use it.
when did you start 10\20, and howīs it going? |

Re: TT against an atypical 10/20er
i say raise, intending to not put any more money into the pot unless you hit a T. even if SB is tight, you still beat 77-99, and TT-QQ might fold to a turn raise. both of these probabilities are low, but you're getting 7-1 on your raise even as a pure bluff

when did you start 10\20, and howīs it going? [/ QUOTE ] I played 10/20 for a while in January and February, it didn't go very well. I just started playing it again today, 187 hands @ 8 BB/100 so far...so I guess it's going well. |

Re: TT against an atypical 10/20er
I think you'll have easier decisions the rest of the way if you cap the flop.

I think you'll have easier decisions the rest of the way if you cap the flop [/ QUOTE ] i donīt really see why. heīll still call down with JJ and QQ. sure, heīll lead the turn with AA\KK and you can fold, but i feel comfortable folding the turn unimproved when he 3bets the flop, thus saving a SB. for me, the read evan has changes everything. |

Re: TT against an atypical 10/20er
If you cap and he leads the turn it's much easier to fold.
Likewise you can always check the river if your flop cap slowed him down on the turn. |

If you cap and he leads the turn it's much easier to fold. [/ QUOTE ] of course itīs easier, but i think itīs made easy enough by his 3bet, so a cap isnīt needed. i guess this is just a subjective part of the hand, and weīll have to agree to disagree. |
