KQ Bad Play?
Read on UTG is Weak Tight, seemed to me his min-raise meant big A.
I think I was looking to be aggresive to early since my stack was alright. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (7 handed) converter Hero (t765) UTG (t685) MP1 (t1710) MP2 (t755) CO (t750) Button (t2155) SB (t1180) Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG raises to t200, 5 folds, Hero calls t100. Flop: (t450) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) I pushed here for 565 more and he called the last of his stack. (converter didn't pick that up for some reason) Turn: (t1420) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) River: (t1420) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Final Pot: t1420 |

Re: KQ Bad Play?
What's the buy-in? You're behind AA, AK, KK, 88, 22, K8, K2. If the player is weak-tight, I think only the first three need to be considered. With 565 chips left and a 400 pot with blinds of 50-100, I'm inclined to push and hope for the best.

Re: KQ Bad Play?
A min-raise UTG from a weak/tight player? This should set off warning bells. Folding KQs is pretty weak in this situtation with the stack you have but I think I fold pre-flop. You can't possibly be comfortable with any flop unless you catch 2-pair and up. Fold and resteal those blinds the next chance you get.
