What would you do if you were starting a poker site?
How much startup capital would you need, and how many props would you hire, and how much would you pay them?
Also... If a new site opened that used bots as props, would you play there? What if the bots were clearly marked as bots, so you could identify them at the table? What if they were programmed to play mediocre poker - or even intentionally programmed to play badly, would that make a difference? Seeing people line up to play saabpo got me thinking. With the right marketing, could bots be an attraction? |

Re: What would you do if you were starting a poker site?
Checknraise poker is probably the last serious try to break into the market. Their pyramid marketing scheme atleast has a chance of attracting fish.
Somehow I doubt anyone want to give me $50M to start a rake free site which will pay back it's initial investment in 20 years... |

How about a site with no real players, just bots. Then the real players would place pari-mutual wagers on which bot they think will win the hand.
Or how about a casino type site with only one game. The coin flip game. Where the payoff is 99.99%. With auto-play available! |

Then again, roulette is about as thin an abstraction from your coin flip game as possible, and people still dump their cash into it. I'll buy in to your company with 50 bucks, LET'S GO! Re: What would you do if you were starting a poker site?
COIN FLIP CASINO no doubt would be a hit.
Branding my coin flip trademarked game will be easy. I am in negotiation right now with a MAJOR poker site (Pokerspot.com) about offering my trademarked patented COIN FLIP action game at the end of a poker hand. The winning player will be offered a chance to double his winning pot on a coin flip. The casino would pay 100% back on a win, while only taking out the additional rake if the player won. I will revolutionize internet gambling with my COIN FLIP game. |

Site would love it, action junkies would love it, 2+2 conspiracy nuts would love it -- 'the coin is rigged.' rabbit |

[/ QUOTE ] Using my proprietary trademarked and patented COIN FLIP ACTION game, 'the coin is rigged' question won't be an issue. Once the COIN FLIP action is chosen, the entire table will be shown a 'LIVE FLIP' by a real live PERSON in real live TIME! Plus, I will be the one you see flipping the coin. It will be totally on the level! |
