Party 15 AK Hand
I originally posted this in Small Stakes because the hand is quite boring. I got exactly one response and it was me bumping the thread.
I've been really struggling in this 15 game. Are river calls like this possibly the reason? I seem to make them frequently. Villain's stats are: {{VP$IP: 41 - PFR: 11 WSD: 36 - TOT HANDS: 187 AF-F: 0.9 - AF-T: 1.0 - AF-R: 1.0 - AF-TOT: 0.6}} Party Poker 15/30 Hold'em (9 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is SB with A, K. 5 folds, CO raises, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, CO calls. Flop: (7 SB) 6, 9, A (2 players) Hero bets, CO calls. Turn: (4.50 BB) T (2 players) Hero bets, CO calls. River: (6.50 BB) 7 (2 players) Hero bets, CO raises, Hero calls. Final Pot: 10.50 BB |

Re: Party 15 AK Hand
If it's a leak, I've got it in my game too.
I pay this off almost every time, especially in the crazy Party 15 game. |

Re: Party 15 AK Hand
My god look at his aggression numbers man. He sucked out on you. Let the friggin thing go. This is one of those spots where the better players feel that because they are better they deserve to win the hand so they call it down. Both of the other posters who responded are tough winning PP players and they both advocated calling down in this spot. Yuck. You're beat, let it go.
FWIW I like the river bet, because a player with those number is definately paying you off with any pair. |
