Default Quads on turn...how much do I bet?

Pokerstars NLHE $1/2 $200 max. Very first hand at this table, so I have no reads whatsoever.

Hero($200)
MP1 ($190)
CO ($170)

Hero dealt 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in BB...UTG limps, UTG + 1 raises to 8, MP1 calls, CO calls, Hero calls, UTG folds...4 to the flop

FLOP ($35): Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero bets $16, UTG + 1 folds, MP1 calls, CO calls

TURN ($80): 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

How much should I bet here...or is checking an option?

I like checking but others will advocate betting I'm sure.

First to act, I'd check. One is bound to bet.

I don't like that flop bet... someone that will call half pot will most likely call more. Given what you did I'd bet $50 on the turn and push the river. That way each bet is only about 2/3 pot and he'll have a hard time getting away if he has AQ or better.

Depends on what the other guy is holding, and how aggressive he is. If he has an Ace high club draw checking would obviously be good. If he has a set of 10s betting is good. All in all I believe I would check against only 1 player here.

Ok, 2 players. I would bet half the pot.

Personally I like the check to give my opponents the opportunity to either bet or catch a card on the river that I can push the pot or more with. A bet isn't bad but you might lose a player and it might hurt you on the river card if the other guy doesn't catch their draw or improve their two pair.

I thought about betting weak here to build the pot..maybe another 1/3 to 1/4th, but then figured that with an $80 pot, somebody would try to take it down right there. I decided to check, hoping to maybe do a stop-n-go or re-raise depending on the size of the bet, and if it came from MP1 and CO called, etc. Unfortunately, it was checked around...the river then showed a J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], to make the board Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Now how much should I bet, or should I check again and hope someone tries to buy it?

I bet the turn. About 1/2-2/3 pot. I think that checking here indicates one of 2 things, you were either bluffing on the flop,or you love that three. I think that betting here would be more deceptive in that you have a much wider range of hands that you could bet the flop and turn with than you would bet the flop and check the turn with.

Given that you have no reads on these players, I'd bet about 1/2 pot. If MP1 and CO are on the flush and/or straight draws, you'll need them to complete in order to get any money off of them. If either of them have a decent hand, you might get raised.

I'd bet about the full pot to make it look like a steal and hope one of them reraises you with the AK [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

If you believe either of them is on a draw you BET. Maybe 1/2 the pot or so. They would still call and if they don't hit you still get that extra bet in there. And if they do hit even better. Checking is not an option because if they dont hit their draw you get nothing out of it.
