Preflop Scenario (hypothetical)
Friend of mine and I were sitting in a very soft 20/40 game yesterday where all 6 opponents were playing extremely loose-passive. Although the situation never actually took place, it kind of almost did, so we had a minor argument about it:
I'm in the BB with AJo, my friend (solid, good) raises UTG and it's folded to me. I say it's a call (or a raise, HU we both like outplaying eachother if the situation is right), he says it's a fold. Any clear-cut answer? (2) If there's a caller in between, does that change your answer? |

Hypothetically speaking, where are you playing 20/40?

"This is completely ridiculous unless he only raises with AA or KK"
that's not true. if he only raises w/ AA, KK, AK, and QQ it's still correct to fold. |

Re: Preflop Scenario (hypothetical)
okay, yes, I see your point here. I think I answered this one without thinking it through. BTW, I missed you at the O today. The game just wasn't the same without seeing you put in 6 bets on the flop. hehe.
