Default Flush draw, but not the nuts

I really don't know whether my laydown was correct. I had the odds to draw for the flush, but considering the action, Mybe I wouldn't have the highest flush.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls, Button folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (6 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls, SB calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (9 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP2 folds, MP3 calls, CO raises, SB calls, Hero folds, UTG+1 calls, MP3 calls.

River: (17 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, UTG+1 checks, MP3 checks, CO bets, SB calls, UTG+1 calls, MP3 folds.

Final Pot: 20 BB

You have pot odds to call. It seems likely he made a straight. Queen high flush is very strong if you make it.
I don't think I would fold any flush draw here.

On of my big problems is, when drawing to a non-nut flush I always getting scared, that someone is drawing to a bigger flush.

I've been burned a few times on this too. It happens, and it is going to happen. But in the long run lower flushes are still profitable hands, and you having 2 of a suit plus having that suit on the board make it less likely someone else has a higher flush. But it does happen, and you will loose sometimes. That is poker.

Sometimes you just have to sling your balls over your shoulders and go for it. Playing scared will cost you money.

Which is my other problem. I'm recovering from a 100BB set-back, and am definately not showing aggression (readlaying correctly) at the correct times.

I understand that a flush is a strong hand, but what if my high card had been lower? How low a high-card would you guysstill have called 2 bets cold??

When I hit the Fold-button I had a feeling I woul dregret it.... And yes I do now see why I shouldn't have folded.

Yeah I totally sympathize with this. After a downswing it can be tough to play right. It's hard, I know, but you have to do it. If you KNOW what the right play is, then do it. I just had a 190 BB downswing, and it was hard for me to play correctly. Maybe you should take a day or two, or three, off till you get yr mind right.

I would play 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] the same.

I also know a good poker player is naturally adverse to cold calling, and for good reason: it is rarely correct. This is one of those rare times.

3 bet the flop.

Bad laydown on the turn. Your flush will win more often then not.

Why 3 bet the flop without position? Is it to just build a huge pot cause they all have to call?
