Re: Monday night
Under has come in a ridiculous amount of times recently in NYJ-MIA contests. These two offenses are not so potent (I think MIA RB Morris may be out), and defenses are good. Even with low O/U of 35.5, inclination is under.
Also, given lack of offense, NYJ not blowing anyone away these days, and MIA playing much better of late, thinking MIA +7 is good bet. Curious about responses. |

Re: Monday night
I have 3 units on Miami +7. I also have 1 unit on Randy McMichael scoring the first TD at 10-1, 1 unit on Chad Pennington under 221 yds passing at -115
Last time these two teams played, Chad completed 14 of 24. The dolphins are a fast and sure tackling defense that won't give up too much YAC. The Randy Mcmichael bet I didn't analyize, just thought 10-1 sounded good. Don't listen to me though. I didn't put too much work into this game, and I'm a poker player not a sports bettor. |

Re: Monday night
When you say unit, what dollar amount are you referring to?

Re: Monday night
Does it matter what a unit stands for?

Re: Monday night
No I was just curious that's all. I didn't know if a unit was a universal term or if the value varies.

Re: Monday night - unit
"Unit" is a term used for these discussions, but the value of a "unit" varies by the bettor. The specific dollar amount a particular person intends to bet is meaningless for purposes of analyzing a game. For example, betting 3 units where one's typical bet is 1 unit indicates confidence in a pick. Stating that you are betting $330 is meaningless if you don't know whether that person's typical bet is $110 or $1100.
