Why the hate over David Williams?

I'm neither a supporter or a hater, but just wondering why so many people don't like David Williams? I watched him on the final table of the WSOP and didn't think he played too badly. Am I missing something?

All I ever saw was debate over the check in the dark hand, and some Magic scandal. I didn't notice a lot of hate. It's not like he was Vince or something.

Very well said, except that goes for every mediocre player but ME. Luck is keeping me down, because I don't have any, and I'm mediocre, a bad combo.
Anyways as far as the original post, I'd say it's because
A) He' black
B) He's black and played magic
C) He is more successful at a young age than most people.
D) All of the above

I'm gonna go with C (so I don't sound like a racist who stereotypes), and it's the real reason why. There was a quote by some guy who said "It's not enough to just succeed, someone has to fail". People (like myself) are jealous because here is a guy who the same age as me and he wins $3.5 million dollars and takes 2nd in the WSOP main event. The man is set for life, and I know for a fact I'll never see that amount of money in my lifetime. So it's all just jealousy and bitterness, but there are people I hate, and David Williams isn't one of them (now Osama Bin Laden on the other hand should have his limbs chopped off and his eyes gouged out of his hand).
