Default 1500$ starting at 5-10$ My personal OIC

I was posting some table chat from 2-4 yesterday, and InThaCup were kind enough to tell me that I was playing below my skill level.\

And since my conditions have changed since I was a full time pro, I decided to go up in limit and dedicate a bankroll for it.

So I am starting now, and I have a brand new Pokertracker (Thanks Pat) where I will be tracking all my play.

If there is enough interest I will post a 'trip' report.

I am starting with 900$ at Stars and 600$ in neteller.

playing the 5/10 at party might be more profitable.

I am not playing Party Cashgames due to their higher rake.

This always confuses me. If you have a better win rate at Party what difference does rake make?

There are plenty of rooms and tables to chose from on other sites than Party, and the fact that they actually raised their rake last December makes me chose to play elsewhere.

I still play their SnG's as they are priced according to the market.

Party does *not* have the softest games, contrary to popular belief

I agree, but perhaps for HB it's a principle thing regarding rake.

I guess so, but it seems like a case of cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Party only has higher rake at a $5.00 pot and a $12.50 pot.

Can-t see how this affects $5/10.

Party: [ QUOTE ]
$2/$4 thru $10/$20
2 - 3 players $1.00 at $20

4 - 5 players $1.00 at 20 $1.50 at $30 and $2.00 at $40

6-10 Players $1.00 at $20, then 50c more at every $10 up to $3.00 at $60

[/ QUOTE ]

PokerStars: [ QUOTE ]
$2/$4 to $100/$200

Number of players $20 Pot $40 Pot $70 Pot Max Rake
2-3 $0.50 $0.50 - $1.00
4-5 $1.00 $1.00 - $2.00
6-10 $1.00 $1.00 $1.00 $3.00

[/ QUOTE ]

PokerStars have lower Rake all the way, and they didn't up their Rake as party has done.

On a yearly basis I would pay thousands of dollars less in Rake at Stars than Party
