The Orleans hotel
I've read most of the posts about the poker room at the Orleans, does anyone have anything to say about the quality of the hotel itself? I like a poker room in my hotel so I can play until 6am and then just stagger upstairs, and I'm with the GF so the IP is out.
It's cheeeep, less than half the price of the Mirage poker rate, which is my other major option at this point. |

Re: The Orleans hotel
Very nice hotel/casino. Not the Bellagio but not a dive. Some very attractive waitresses. Poker room is filled with tight locals during the day and the list at night are very long. They also run a tourney twice a day if you like to play in tournaments.

The rooms are fine. Some goods places to eat as well. They have a strip shuttle.

Re: The Orleans hotel
The rooms are actually very nice, the new tower was done well. They are small, so if your looking for lots of room for some room time relaxing, your out of luck. The bed is a good quality, which is very important to us people with bad backs!

Re: The Orleans hotel
I have stayed at the orleans several times and think it is a great value. I normally have a car there so the location isn't as important to me. Anyway, I like it and my wife likes it and gives the spa reasonable grades. They have also always made it easy to get the poker rate at the orleans.

Re: The Orleans hotel
Well it depends what games you play in and the fact that the Orleans Open is begining may have brought in alot of poor players...Maybe ya just were there on a loose day...Good Luck to you.
