I will. Think the Indians really care how they make the playoffs? Would you?

Yes, I do think the Indians care how they make the playoffs. Wouldn't you want to be part of a team who overcame a 15 game deficit in the final 2 months of the season?

Of course. But your OP makes it seem like the WC is not something to be desired. It obviously is.

No way. I think they'll make the playoffs, and once they get there, they're the team to beat. They're the most complete team in the AL -- bar none.

Is there any doubt that Shapiro should get Executive of the Year?

How's this for a scenario. If the Yankees and Red Sox are two games behind the Indians going into the last series of the regular season the Indians are in. Also if the Indians win 5 out of their next 7 they're in. Admitedly big "ifs" though. IMO it's helpful for the Indians that the Yankees play the Red Sox the last series of the year. Somebody comes out of that series 1-2 or 0-3. You could say the same thing about the White Sox and Indians series next weekend but currently the White Sox and Indians are ahead of both teams. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see the Yankees and Red Sox win the rest of their games going into that last series of the year.

Losing to KC today was not in the plans. Wild card could be tied by Monday night.

Still true, so still bumping.

CC put the Indians on his back tonight. Glad the bats reponded.

Here's to Chicago not giving a full effort this weekend.

Sweeps by the Tribe and Sox are OK with me buddy.

My "Go Yanks" comments will switch to "Go Sox" if Boston wins the first 2
