[/ QUOTE ] Without religion, we'd be totally [censored], and so many things would have never been acomplished For example, the printing press was invented to distribute bibles. Writen language itself was invented mostly for commercial needs, but also to spread religion. [/ QUOTE ] Part of the reason to print bibles was to make it available in more accessible languages. The masses couldn't read and pretty much depending on the priests to tell them what was in the bible. This was a control tool. My vote is for organized religion or the 5 day work week, savings time, etc. |
