The song at the end of Kill Bill Vol. 1, whatever it is...I just love how it starts off in the background and kicks in after it's revealed that The Bride's child is still alive. [/ QUOTE ] "The Lonely Shepherd" by Georges Zamfir (anybody remember those late-night ads for the album by "The Master of the Pan Flute"? That's him.) A lot of great music in that film, but this was the song that pushed me to go out and buy the soundtrack. Only twice have I sat in a theater watching the credits roll, thinking, "This music is incredible!" 1. Kill Bill Vol 1 2. Hannibal (reprise the song they watched in the opera scene; I'm no opera guy, but this was breath-takingly beautiful) |
