Jim try this test. Do not go to WinHoldem's website. In fact close your browser completely. Now open a DOS window and type "title WinHoldEm" without the quotation marks. It is case sensitive also. Now minimize your DOS window and login to PartyPoker. See that popup accusing you of running a PokerBot? That's the problem, you aren't running a pokerbot or even looking at a pokerbot website, and you're certainly not lying, cheating or colluding. Do you have a problem with it now?

Jim, PartyPoker doesn't prevent you from connecting to other websites, even ones about pokerbots. They prevent you from playing on THEIR site if you have a window open (or minimized) with the word WinHoldEm in the title bar.

What you are trying to do here is use the emotional hot-button issue of “privacy” to deflect attention away from the fact that winHo is all about cheating.

I hope your use of the emotionally charged word “Gestapo” means that we are coming close to “Hitler” of this ... let me see ... here ... it’s time for this word to surface ... scum.

Isn't that well within their rights? They're controlling the content they provide. If they discover something they don't like, then they'll decide not to provide said content.

You always know when you've gotten to someone when they stop making sense and resort to name calling. Thanks for the confirmation, your intellectual impotence is embarassing.

If you were to visit my website would I be well within my right to search your computer for anything I don't like? After all, I'm just controlling the content I provide right? And what if I find something I DO like?

I fail to see what your issue is. Playing poker at Party Poker is not your God or constitutionally given right. If you feel that their product is in anyway unsatisfactory, you have the complete and absolute right to stop using it.

End of story. All your "privacy" smoke and mirror issues are completely besides the point.

If you want to play semantic or logic games, you have not chosen your opponent well. I haven’t embarrassed you, you’ve embarrassed yourself with your sophomoric attempts at obfuscation.

Nice little switcheroo on “if you can’t attack the facts, attack the person.” Very Clintonesque of you to accuse the person of attacking you.

Me, I’ll just stick to the facts. WinHoldem is for cheating, and pokers sites are correct to take steps to prevent its’ use.

Terry,

I wasn't playing games, I didn't realize you were an opponent, I did not choose you, you haven't embarassed me, you should be embarassed for calling me a scum when I did nothing to you, I don't care if you don't agree with me about anything, after the unprovoked name calling your opinion has no value to me.

I agree with you that the pokersites can take steps to prevent the usage of any piece of software other then their own on their own site. However you failed to read or understand my original post. I stated I was not using the bot. I didnt have the bot installed on my pc. How would you like it if PartyPoker determined you were using a pokerbot, closed your account and confiscated your funds, even though you dont even have the damn bot installed on your pc? And all because they snooped through your computer and made the determination you visited a porn site, or a competitors poker site, or any other website they deemed unacceptable to them?

I don't like this bot thing anymore then you Terry, but you've missed the point.

I'm not sure why all of you continue to entertain these nitwits. Winholdem and his alter egos are a bunch of mental midgets who obviously love the attention. Just let the thread die, and maybe they'll follow suit.
