Is that what you pay, or is that split with a roommate?

Curious because LA is one of the places I am considering to be in next year.

[/ QUOTE ]

That is my monthly rent and I live alone.

[/ QUOTE ]
yikes. Guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I didn't know LA was that expensive.

[/ QUOTE ]

Given the specs of the place and the fact that it's Southern California this actually sounds like a hell of a deal? Am I way off base here?

Swede

[/ QUOTE ]
Probably not, I'm sure it's me. I don't know anything about Cali.

- $1000/month
- 1 BR/bath, about 900 sq. ft.
- edison, nj
- good location, right off major highways but not congested (relative to most of central/north jersey at least)

[/ QUOTE ]

Off 1 near 287? Near the Menlo Park mall or further north? (Just curious as I'm very familiar with that area.)

-$675/month ($337.50 each)
-Northern section of Prescott Valley, AZ (high desert about 1-1/2 hours north of Phoenix)
-2 bedroom, 1.5 bath duplex, ~1200 sq ft.
-We have spiders. Too many of them. On the plus side, I've gotten used to having them around. Instead of screaming like a little girl, I now say "heh, that's a pretty damn big spider" and go back to watching TV.
-I'm moving in 4 months, so I don't much care about how this place looks/feels.
