Re: Something I\'m thinking through in the super-loose Nanos.
It's more to the point that, even if they are correct to call postflop, they are still coming out losers in the long run due to their preflop mistake (e.g. having to call 2+ with 75s). Hmm, wonder where all that lost money is ending up? hmmmm.

Then they will say, well, by that logic I should be raising with 74s (10.4%) as well. [/ QUOTE ] Isn't another part of this because the rake is much more than that .4% ? Just a thought. |

AA KK QQ JJ or AK, AQ. [/ QUOTE ] Those eight hands (yours plus AKs and AQs) literally make more money or close to it than every other winning hand put together. That is any combination you want to pick of the 161 remaining hands totalled together. Literally. Do you think that happens by not raising? |

Re: Something I\'m thinking through in the super-loose Nanos.
you are not raising to "knock people out", you are raising because you have a much better hand than them, and have the best of it (for value)
in the micros, vaue betting is the name of the game. |

How many tables have you found where 8 people are playing every hand they are dealt? Even then your edge is very slim. Cut that number down to 4 other people (who are still playing any 2 cards), and you're a dog. |
