Re: True (?) Poker
I don't know what the timing was on this but I was glad to see that True finally got word to Mike on what they would like to do. I was, of course, under no illusion that a "boycott" in any sense of the term would work with such a loose association of people who care only about their own bottom line. I used the phrase merely to point out that we carry a lot of clout in the online poker community and if we could speak with one voice it would carry far. Of course we won't do that. Anything that actually might make us a dime individually is far more important to us than what might actually be fair and right for the community.
In any event, nicely done Mike and your tops in my book. |

Re: TruePoker has replied!
Well, I've had no further communications from True, so I guess it's too late for the replacement Tourney to be organised for tonight.
I'll ask him to go for 8.30pmEST on Thursday 26th February. |

Re: TruePoker has replied!
Sorry if this is a bit premature as your still in discussions, but from your post as I understand, the remaining 34 players recieve $50, the last 4 recieve an extra $50. The replacement tourny is a freeroll (I'm guessing) with just bragging rights at stake.
Is this correct? Seems fine to me, thanks for your efforts Paul |
