Re: Party 3 billionth hand promo
Party had some downtime last night so that may have slowed things down some. Tomorrow's hand should come midafternoon again.

Talk about your bad beats. Edit: Oops, didn't notice that I01010 had a flush. Kinda would suck if BarbaraBen gets the whole $3750 winner's share since she was all-in for a small amount. Wonder how that actually works. |

Re: Party 3 billionth hand promo
I01010 won the $3750, this was announced in a popup.
I actually disagree with this, as it means that the best hand, the one which won the main pot, did not win the money. It means that the big stack at the table in no limit could theoretically win the jackpot with Ten high, even if others at the table had quads or a straight flush. |

Re: Party 3 billionth hand promo
Another amusing thing I noticed, half the players at the table, if not more, clearly failed to notice that they were in the jackpot hand.
A player in no limit could simply go all in before the flop, everyone else would fold, and they'd win $3750 (or whatever) just for noticing which hand they were in. It seems that the way to go for this jackpot is to play shorthanded no limit tables, as if you do end up in the proper hand, you can go all in and they'll all fold... and if you don't win the jackpot, you still split 50% with the rest of the players, so you want shorthanded instead of full ring to have as few people splitting it with you as possible. |

Re: Party 3 billionth hand promo
I mentioned something similar in another thread and I totally agree with your thinking. Everyone goes all in and one of the 2 big stacks win I guess.
Things that make ya go "hmmm...." |
